GALsync is an easy to use and cost effective solution that allows you to share Exchange mail-enabled objects between forests. Sharing objects helps users in one or both messaging organizations access information about users and groups of the opposite Active Directory.

GAL synchronisation allows you to exchange e-mail-enabled objects with other Exchange organisations and even Exchange Online. This way, users in the included mail organisations can use the other organisation's user and group data.

The contactSync module allows you to synchronise the Global Address Lists, Public Folder Contacts or Shared Mailbox Contacts of Exchange 2013, Exchange 2016, Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online into a subfolder within a user's mailbox contacts.

In addition, our awarded tool does not only provide object synchronisation but also the best synchronisation of calendar data (free/busy times) using Microsoft Federation or Cross-Forest delegation between multiple Exchange organisations.

  • Select (only) objects that you need
Select all objects or any subsets that you would like to export. Since GALsync is intended for Outlook users (Exchange GAL), only the e-mail-enabled AD objects indicated in the source GAL are considered. In addition, objects can be excluded by setting a user-defined attribute or included character string.
  • Multiple domains
Select objects from every domain of your Active Directory for exporting. GALsync is multi-domain enabled.
  • Selecting the network protocol
GALsync enables data transmission of the selected objects using FTP transfer, a Windows Shared directory or e-mail sent via the Exchange mailbox of the GALsync service account.
  • Secure data transmission
Data is transmitted between the different Active Directories in an encoded file, whatever the network protocol. Nobody can read details of the object information during its transmission from source to destination. Both sides need a key generated by the programme to export or import data.
  • Managed code
GALsync is programmed in ‘managed code’ with .NET Framework. It is compiled to run on 64-bit Windows platforms.
  • Log files
Log files track everything that has happened during the entire sync process.

  • Import and publish contact information in multiple partner organisations (Active Directory, Exchange Online)
  • Supports Microsoft Exchange platforms 2019, 2016, 2013 as well as Exchange Online (Microsoft Office365)
  • Secure data transmission using encryption
  • Contact information available in multiple partner organisations
  • Automation - saving time and costs trough automated and scheduled synchronisation processes
  • Quick and easy to install and configure
