NETsec starts Reseller-Program Administrations Tools

Solutions for system administration of Microsoft-Exchange, Active Directory and Windows-Platforms

Dueren, Germany, July 2010. The NETsec GmbH & Co. KG opens up an indirect sales channel and starts a Reseller program for its tools all around the system administration of Microsoft-Exchange, Active Directory and Windows-platforms. The NETsec-solutions represent a complete program for the productive system administrator.

At the moment, the four chargeable solutions are relevant for the resellers: Galsync for an automatic exchange of mail-activated objects of Active Directory with other Microsoft-Exchange servers as well as their free/booked times, comAdmin for the central and automated user and access permission management, ArchiveUsers for the legally correct archiving of AD and Exchange user data and EPR for the analysis and documentation of the file-system environment and access permission structures. The range is supported by two free of cost solutions for the generation of data for test environments and for Web Self-Service concepts.

Another administrative tool is currently being developed with the support of the innovation program proInno of the Federal Ministry for Economics.

The laid-out Reseller program is directed mainly at the system houses in the Microsoft Exchange and Windows environments, which extend their own portfolio with the NETsec tools and also wish to generate additional consulting and service sales over and above this. Galsync

Galsync belongs to the most frequently used solutions for the automatic synchronization of Global Address Lists (GAL) of any exchange server as well as their free/booked times. With just a few mouse clicks the administrators can select address data, in order to import or export them from GALs to the corresponding Exchange servers. The implementation itself takes a maximum of one hour.

comAdmin

comAdmin is a tool for the simple management of users and their access permissions in the file system via the Active Directory (AD). Within a few minutes the administrators can activate new users, release files and directories for them, define roles or move and reorganize groups. comAdmin makes the work of the administrators extremely fast and relieves them at the same time through various self-service functions.

ArchivUsers

ArchiveUsers is a tool, in order to safely archive and delete data, home directories, profile paths and exchange mailboxes that are no longer needed.

The software thereby compresses the user objects no longer needed, stores them on any medium, deletes them from the infrastructure and logs at the same time all the steps. All data except the user objects can be restored in a simple way after archiving.

EPR (Enterprise Permission Reporter)

The EPR helps the companies to analyze the user and the rights structure of their file system environment. From the analyses, the EPR generates Excel-friendly HTML-files, which can be opened with any browser for the purpose of audit and compliance.

GroupWebService

With the help of the free GroupWebService companies can setup quickly and easily web-based group registration and de-registration as user self-service. The independent entry and deletion of the groups relieves the helpdesk and the IT-administrators.

Test Data Too

The Test Data Tool, also free of cost, supports the companies in the installation of an IT test environment by providing and integrating the test data. The solution obviates the tiresome creation of test data. It automatically generates users, contacts, groups, calendar entries and free-busy information for system tests.
