EXCLAIMER LAUNCHES EMAIL DISCLAIMER TOOL FOR EXCHANGE 2010

Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers provides automated disclaimer and marketing functionality to users of Exchange 2010

17 February 2010: Exclaimer, the mail utilities software developer, today launches Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers to provide organisations with an automated mail disclaiming tool, specifically developed to work with Microsoft Exchange 2010. Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers provides organisations with a fully functional mail disclaiming tool complete with automated corporate branding and banner advertising capabilities purposely built to work in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange 2010.

As a server-based tool, Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers provides businesses with reassurance that all email sent via the Microsoft Exchange 2010 server contains the correct and compliant corporate disclaimer together with a company branded email signature, full contact details and the latest marketing message. Using the .NET platform and 64-bit technology, Exclaimer has purposely built Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers to be fully compatible with the latest Microsoft Exchange offering whilst also remaining compatible with Exchange 2007.

Andrew Millington, Managing Director of Exclaimer, explains, "With the launch of Microsoft Exchange 2010 businesses are now able to utilise even more functionality from their email system. With Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers, users of Exchange 2010 and 2007 are provided with the ultimate email disclaiming tool, ensuring that the correct corporate disclaimer is included on all email sent out via the Exchange server - including emails sent via mobile devices such as PDAs and Blackberrys."

Millington continues, "As a Microsoft Gold Partner we are continually developing products that will enable our customers to make the best use of the latest Microsoft offerings. A key advantage of Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers is that it sits directly on the server, automatically stamping each outgoing email with the correct disclaimer and corporate messaging as it leaves the company. By looking in the sent items folder, the user is then able to see the mail in the exact format it was sent – complete with disclaimer, signature and marketing message; a function that has not been available previously."

A key advantage of Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers is the ability to apply sophisticated rules to add different disclaimers, together with marketing messages and banners, dependent upon who is sending or receiving the email. Further functionality also enables time limits to be set on the marketing messages to ensure that out of date campaigns are not sent out.

Millington explains, "As the most commonly used communication method, email represents a great opportunity to promote an organisation’s products and services. However, the messages need to be timely and relevant in order to be effective. By using Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers intelligent timing rules, businesses can ensure that all advertising and marketing messages sent within the email are up-to-date and current. For example, a banner wishing customers a Merry Christmas can be applied a few days before the Christmas shutdown and automatically removed on the 26th December when it is no longer relevant."

Exclaimer is a leading provider of mail utilities and software add on products for Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. With the launch of Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers, Exclaimer now offers a suite of products suitable for use with the full range of Microsoft Exchange servers including 2010, 2007, 2003, 2000 and Small Business Server 2000, 2003 and 2008.

Millington concludes, "As technology continues to advance at a fast-pace it is important that businesses are provided with the tools necessary to keep up. Exchange 2010 provides organisations with a faster and more capable email system and by implementing a sophisticated mail tool such as Exclaimer Mail Disclaimers, businesses can manage and control their email efficiently and effectively to ensure the correct disclaimer is always present along with a timely marketing banner and correct corporate signature."
